“Our holiday in Argentina was terrific. Having never been to North-west Argentina before I was completely amazed and entranced by the beauty and magestic scenery that we encountered. Difficult to pick one highlight as there were so many. Campo Piedra Pomez, Las Senoritas Gorge and the Serranias del Hornocal are just a few of the beautiful places we visited. All the arrangements went very smoothly, apart from the bus delay and then the electrical blackout in Chile! We could say it all added to our adventure!

“Overall our 4 week holiday to Chile and Argentina was exceptional. Every day was different, all our guides were excellent and your little green booklet was invaluable. You took into consideration all our interests and worked within our budget to put together a trip to suit us. It was the perfect mix of guided excursions combined with some free days to be more independent, and do our own thing. The Atacama more than exceeded our expections, having a hire car in the Chilean lake district suited us very well and our stay at Cerro Guido in Patagonia was a real highlight. In Argentina we had an excellent day visiting Perito Moreno Glacier and did some great hiking, and a bike ride, in El Chalten in Los Glaciares National Park. Buenos Aires is great city and La Bandada in the Pampas was wonderful. We learnt so much and felt very spoilt at times - thank you again for organising such a wonderful trip, we will have no hesitation in recommending Last Frontiers.” - BF travelled in November 2025

Peru
“Peru was quite simply the most amazing holiday, I still can hardly believe we have done it. We both cannot thank you enough for organising it for us. Everything ran like clockwork the whole team of people who looked after us were so kind, friendly and efficient and our accommodation was brilliant - just perfect. As for highlights there were so many. Ale, our guide on the first day in Cusco was phenomenal and some of the Inca temples just blew me away. Machu Picchu of course and don’t even get me started on the rain forest I cried when I left. Our guide Fernando was just amazing. We ended up with 3 days at Tambopata - what a place so peaceful we left so much more knowledgeable and enriched. I have some amazing photos and so will be able to look back and remember what was the holiday of a lifetime and the holiday of dreams. “We had a fantastic time in Argentina, thank you, it was a great adventure.
The boys had a memorable time shooting in Cordoba (I had a go too) and Estancia Pampa Grande was something very special (and, yes, I rode - another achievement!). The guides looked after us very well, we ate like kings and the accommodation was fabulous. The falls were very impressive and it was great to see them on both sides, the scenery in the Salta region amazing and the estancia was heaven! Beautiful people, lots of things to discover and treated like royalty.
All in all, we had the most amazing time, which ran super-smoothly and professionally. We were so well looked after all the way around and would recommend these places to our friends.” - MA travelled in February 2026

“We had a fantastic trip, thank you for all your organisation. All the guides turned up and it all went like clockwork. Our guide in Mendoza for the wine tour was fantastic and also we also had a great guide/driver for the Salta area - he was a very safe driver and went out of his way to organise things for us.

“We were were absolutely blown away by our trip to Ecuador and around the Galapagos Islands - a very special family trip on the most amazing boat. Seeing the most wonderful wildlife and scenery on the other side of the world was simply extraordinary and I keep having to pinch myself and remind myself that it really happened.
Our boat Integrity was stunning in every way - very spacious and comfortable and the staff were very hard working, friendly and kind. The food and drink were delicious and our guide was also excellent, extremely knowledgeable and kept us very busy! We realise that we were lucky with the weather and guide but the organisation to get us all there was immense. All of our flights, transfers, tours, activities and hotels were excellent.
It has taken a day or two to unpack and adjust back into normal life but thank you for arranging such a fabulous trip – we have amazing memories and photos. We look forward to more adventures with Last Frontiers and really can’t imagine travelling with anyone else, you make it all so easy and enjoyable. With huge thanks.” - JS travelled in March 2026

“We had an incredible holiday and absolutely loved the itinerary you put together for us. Your local partners were outstanding, particularly when it came to safety, punctuality, the quality of the equipment, and the lunches they prepared. Our guide was truly first class — a real professional who did a wonderful job engaging with our boys. We enjoyed working with her so much that we decided to join her whale shark tour on Monday, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire trip. Costa Rica

Ecuador/Galapagos
“Our trip was amazing. We were so impressed with how organised everything was, it really was ridiculously easy for us. At every point there was someone waiting who knew exactly where we should be going, what we needed etc.
I know that most people go to the Amazon before Galapagos, which I understand, but for us I preferred the order in which we did it. I think I would have been wishing the time away waiting to head to Galapagos, and our kids thought that the wildlife experience was just as good. On that point, we were really lucky. We finished Galapagos snorkeling with hammerheads, Galapagos and white tip reef sharks. We also got to swim with penguins, sea lions, turtles and so many fish. We are generally spoiled at home in terms of snorkeling/diving but this was incredible. At Napo, in the Amazon, we got to see the giant river otters hunting, carrying their young and generally messing around which was incredible. So at the risk of waffling on, our wildlife encounters were incredible and not just for the twitchers in the family.
The respective accommodations were excellent. We were very lucky on our boat that we were with a lovely family. Given that it was so small, it would have been a very different experience if they weren't so lovely. The guides we had were all very knowledgeable and friendly.

Mexico
“I had a wonderful time in Mexico, it was a hugely enjoyable trip: all flights and arrangements worked really well and I thank you for all your efforts. The schedule that you created worked very well, producing some wonderful memories and my guide was exceptional and very knowledgeable - I could not be more delighted. The Espirito Santo, swimming with sea lions excursion, was excellent - it was of course a delight to swim with the sea lions, to observe them at close quarters, but also to see the islands, landscapes, and fauna and flora. The day was calm, with little wind and ample sunshine and was perfect for the activities undertaken.
We saw one youngish whale shark close to the boat and were unlucky not to see any grey whales, but the tour was turned into one of the most enjoyable excursions by the extensive knowledge of the guide who pointed out so many different birds (including pelicans, cormorants, heron, ibis, caracara, a barn owl, a green-breasted mango etc.) and explained about the mangroves ecology. He encouraged the boat captain to search further waters (in the hope of seeing whales) and we were rewarded by a fine sighting of a dozen or so dolphins with some young.
The blue whales tour – Isla Carmen, Loreto, was a delight for the sea life we saw but also for the landscapes and sheer joy of being in an open boat on the largely calm sea. The boat captain was commendably attentive to his responsibilities to the whales and took pains to ensure good sightings were possible, and the knowledge of my guide made the tour very much more rewarding than it would otherwise have been. With great luck we encountered a humpback whale soon after leaving Loreto and were afforded good views, including its tail fin making a silhouette against the sun. Dolphins, mantarays and many different birds were seen and right at the end of the tour (causing its duration to be extended) we had a clear, fairly close sighting of a blue whale. The whole tour was a delight.
In Bahia Magdalena the boat captain was superbly good at his job, tracking down the grey whales with some skill in the swell and manoeuvring the boat at close quarters to the whales for some considerable time to afford the closest contact. We encountered two grey whales who, perhaps having become used to human contact, were willing to display themselves even to the point of being touched. I understand that the sighting and contact we enjoyed was of a quality that could hardly be exceeded. The guide provided much information and encouraged us to interact with the whales. He also arranged a delicious lunch at one of the restaurants in the port.
Once again, the whole experience of my visit to Mexico was a succession of delights, typically exceeding expectations, and I remain very favourably impressed with how you managed to assemble such a wonderful programme for me and with such little effort being required of me.
