Chile/Argentina/Brazil
“In a nutshell we had an amazing experience. Some extraordinarily beautiful scenery/landscapes, great people (particularly the Chileans we met), some fantastic food (everywhere) and simply a great vibe wherever we went. The only downside I would have to say is that we did too much. Looking back we could easily have spent 4 weeks just in Chile, but the temptation to see as many places as we could got the better of us and now we need a holiday to recover! Mexico

Our full day with him and visiting Monte Alban and visiting the family for lunch (and to see their weaving/rugs), that was definitely a highlight. Mexico
“Thank you for arranging the trip which worked really well and it’s another one ticked off the bucket list. All the guides were really great, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and proud of their heritage. With a trip like this it is always difficult to pick out the highlights - so many places and sights! Mexico City was vibrant and interesting but we weren’t sorry to leave the smog behind. Oaxaca and Campeche were our favourite cities - both colonial-style hotels and buildings make you feel you have arrived in the real Mexico. They were relaxed and friendly, good places to visit. If we have to choose a favourite archaeological site it would be the small Kabah site which we arrived at quite early in the morning. It was so quiet we had it almost to ourselves.It was quite right to include the day of relaxation at the Hacienda Santa Rosa. After lots of travelling and visits it was good to have a rest. Likewise, the final days on the beachside Ana y José in Tulum were just right.” - S&JH travelled in February 2025
Falkland Islands
“The Falkland Islands were amazing, I enjoyed it a lot. Especially because it was end of the season and many of the places I visited I had to myself. There were islands where I spent the night 11km away from the next person, only with a radio to communicate in emergencies. It was a good itinerary for the week we initially planned – sad that some of the islands had to close due to the bird flu and hopefully it will be ok next season. I definitely recommend the Falklands as a destination, it was probably one of the highlights of my trip.” - IJ travelled in March 2024
Brazil
“We had a really good holiday and the places were all fascinating. Congratulations on your reservations and bookings. The organisation, transfers and meeting at all of the airports was perfect and we went at the right time, after carnival. We were frequently told that we were lucky there were so few people around as previously it had been very busy.
People spoke about being careful, but clearly if you do not display expensive jewellery or watches, you are just as safe as any other major city or tourist place.

“Highly successful trip to Iberá and Salta. All transfers went perfectly. The Rincon del Socorro was excellent - comfortable and welcoming. Salta exceeded our expectations. Again airport pickup perfect. The Finca Valentina was really superb. Tremendously welcoming with superb cooking and lovely gardens. Enjoyed the recently flooded salt flats especially. The drive to the coloured mountains was amazing though the altitude was a little challenging for we oldies. All in all a great trip!” - CP travelled in March 2024

“We had a really excellent holiday and want to thank you very much for all your hard work, especially with the inevitable hitches and glitches. I also finished reading the Brian Keenan and John McCarthy book you sent me. It was wonderful and it's such a great and unique idea to send a book to your clients. The ground services were all super with good communication, punctual and friendly. The Australis cruise lived up to expectations and the cabin, food, service, excursions etc. were superb. El Chalten was my favourite part of the trip. I loved the relaxed, laid back vibe, we had perfect walking weather and I loved being able to hike straight out the door, no park fees or transport needed. Ecuador
“What a holiday!! I had a marvellous time in Ecuador. The itinerary you put together met all my expectations and more.
The Napo valley was very special, I wish I had had more time there. The three guides Pedro, Abel and Roger who were with me the whole time were brilliant. They went out of their way to ensure I was able to observe and experience the magnificence of the national park. Their knowledge and expertise is second to none.
It’s not just the things you do and the places you visit that make a holiday but the people you meet along the way. Marco Toscano, my guide for most of the holiday, was exemplary. One of the best guides (if not the best) I have ever had and a great companion.” - RH travelled in September 2023
