Argentina
“We had a wonderful time in Argentina really enjoying the sunshine and heat and the boys had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed their dove shooting in Cordoba. At Iguazú the boat trip on the Argentina side went into the falls, really special and thrilling and the Brazilian side was great to see too as you don't realise how big and impressive they are. The scenery in the Salta region was stunning, stripy mountains, salt flats and cacti and we even got to see snow on the mountain tops. Our guide was superb, very knowledgeable and didn’t bombard us with too much information. He made some excellent lunch recommendations and was a great companion on our activities at Estancia Pampa Grande, it was sad to say goodbye. We enjoyed Buenos Aires at the end too. Bolivia/Chile

Argentina/Uruguay
“We have had the best holiday we've ever had and can't thank you enough - it was fantastic. All the arrangements worked perfectly, the guides were excellent and the wine tours, in both Uruguay and Argentina, were out of this world! You listened to us when you asked what our interests were and put together a first class itinerary which ticked all the boxes. The suggested choice of accommodation was perfect for our needs and all the food delicious. Mexico

Our full day with him and visiting Monte Alban and visiting the family for lunch (and to see their weaving/rugs), that was definitely a highlight. Brazil
“I would like to thank you for organising the most wonderful trip for us. Everything ran so smoothly-all the pick ups and flights were great. Both the accommodation in the Pantanal and in the Amazon were really great. We had terrific guides in both and great (and plenty) of food. Argentina/Uruguay
“We had a fabulous holiday thank you! We loved Casa Glebinias near Mendoza - a garden paradise with large rooms and good food. The wine tasting day was amazing ending up at Quinmerino with its tasting menu and stunning views. Salta too was brilliant and our guide fantastic. Finca valentina was by far our favourite hotel and we so needed a flop by the pool after long days travelling around the region. We loved Buenos Aires and both hotels there were a hit. Montevideo was possibly a step too far (our fault of course) as by three weeks in we were pretty tired. But we loved the hotel, the old town, and it was great to see our niece. Overall a wonderful trip - 8 flights, 8 hotels and a ferry and all worth it. Thank you again, we're now huge fans of South America!” - N&DC travelled in February 2026
Ecuador/Galapagos
“Our trip was amazing. We were so impressed with how organised everything was, it really was ridiculously easy for us. At every point there was someone waiting who knew exactly where we should be going, what we needed etc.
I know that most people go to the Amazon before Galapagos, which I understand, but for us I preferred the order in which we did it. I think I would have been wishing the time away waiting to head to Galapagos, and our kids thought that the wildlife experience was just as good. On that point, we were really lucky. We finished Galapagos snorkeling with hammerheads, Galapagos and white tip reef sharks. We also got to swim with penguins, sea lions, turtles and so many fish. We are generally spoiled at home in terms of snorkeling/diving but this was incredible. At Napo, in the Amazon, we got to see the giant river otters hunting, carrying their young and generally messing around which was incredible. So at the risk of waffling on, our wildlife encounters were incredible and not just for the twitchers in the family.
The respective accommodations were excellent. We were very lucky on our boat that we were with a lovely family. Given that it was so small, it would have been a very different experience if they weren't so lovely. The guides we had were all very knowledgeable and friendly.

Mexico
“Thank you for arranging the trip which worked really well and it’s another one ticked off the bucket list. All the guides were really great, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and proud of their heritage. With a trip like this it is always difficult to pick out the highlights - so many places and sights! Mexico City was vibrant and interesting but we weren’t sorry to leave the smog behind. Oaxaca and Campeche were our favourite cities - both colonial-style hotels and buildings make you feel you have arrived in the real Mexico. They were relaxed and friendly, good places to visit. If we have to choose a favourite archaeological site it would be the small Kabah site which we arrived at quite early in the morning. It was so quiet we had it almost to ourselves.It was quite right to include the day of relaxation at the Hacienda Santa Rosa. After lots of travelling and visits it was good to have a rest. Likewise, the final days on the beachside Ana y José in Tulum were just right.” - S&JH travelled in February 2025
Argentina
“We had an amazing holiday - our third trip to the country but this time it has really felt like we have been “in” Argentina. The journey from the Andes to the Atlantic was spectacular and jaw-dropping and Gwion was wonderful as a guide and friend. Sunset to ourselves with the colony of 600,000 Magellanic penguins at Estancia San Lorenzo was very special.” - I&LW travelled in January 2025
Peru
“Peru was quite simply the most amazing holiday, I still can hardly believe we have done it. We both cannot thank you enough for organising it for us. Everything ran like clockwork the whole team of people who looked after us were so kind, friendly and efficient and our accommodation was brilliant - just perfect. As for highlights there were so many. Ale, our guide on the first day in Cusco was phenomenal and some of the Inca temples just blew me away. Machu Picchu of course and don’t even get me started on the rain forest I cried when I left. Our guide Fernando was just amazing. We ended up with 3 days at Tambopata - what a place so peaceful we left so much more knowledgeable and enriched. I have some amazing photos and so will be able to look back and remember what was the holiday of a lifetime and the holiday of dreams. Galapagos/Bolivia/Chile
“I wanted to write and let you know how much I enjoyed my first visit to South America. The Galapagos and Integrity blew me away - I loved every single second. We were incredibly lucky with the weather and to see as much as we did, but our guide and all the crew were fantastic. Even though we were up at 5.30am and busy all day, we were able to totally relax. It was very special to travel with all the family and to be organised by my big sister.
Bolivia and northern Chile were also amazing. The Salt Flats and scenery in Bolivia is stunning and we were looked after very well by our guides. The Tierra Atacama was a lovely place to end up for our last few days. Again, the scenery is incredible and the hotel staff were so friendly and the excursions and guides were great.
It was fantastic to experience a trip with Last Frontiers and all the travel arrangements, guides and hotels were second to none. I'd happily recommend our itinerary to anyone happy to pack alot into two weeks! “In a nutshell we had an amazing experience. Some extraordinarily beautiful scenery/landscapes, great people (particularly the Chileans we met), some fantastic food (everywhere) and simply a great vibe wherever we went. The only downside I would have to say is that we did too much. Looking back we could easily have spent 4 weeks just in Chile, but the temptation to see as many places as we could got the better of us and now we need a holiday to recover! Costa Rica
“I wanted to say a huge thank you for having worked so hard to organise such a wonderful holiday for us. We really had a fabulous time - totally fell in love with the country and the route you sent us on worked so well. Brazil
“We have had such a brilliant holiday. Everything went like clockwork and everywhere we stayed was wonderful, on the whole. Thank you so much for organising it all for us.
Latam was a great airline, all flights on time and business class very comfortable. Pousada Literaria, Paraty was a great hotel and our guide was excellent, both around the town and on the boat trip which was huge fun. Das Cataratas, Iguassu is a great hotel and we had another excellent guide. We really enjoyed Ouro and our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable guide. We were fairly churched out by the end! The tour of the gold mine was fun. Chapada Diamentina was a highlight, we loved Pousada das Aguas and our guide was excellent, and took us on wonderful treks to views, caves and waterfalls.
All the guides were extremely good at getting us checked in at the airports and making sure we had our boarding cards, which was very helpful as online was a bit tricky! We think the length of time we spent in each place was just right. 3 nights made the long journeys between stops worthwhile and not too much of a rush. Overall an excellent holiday.
